About me
I am a designer with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering based in Udaipur. I did not have formal education in design, but I was deeply involved in it for the last three years with Value at Void, where my mentor, San, and the team introduced me to different disciplines of design. For me, it was a journey of finding my niche and growing as a person. I worked extensively on videos, followed by UI/UX, graphic design, content writing, Webflow, 3D, and even procurement.
I enjoy organising things. For example, if I see untidy shelves in grocery stores, I will organise them (when no one is looking). User experience design is like organising—if you can keep your home organised, then you can be a user experience designer. After all, good design brings out the best in us.
Another crucial aspect of shaping who I am today is my family. I belong to a family of artists. It all started with my great-great-grandfather, Ghasiram Haridev Sharma, who was a renowned Pichwai artist from Nathdwara, whose art is on display in the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. My twin sister is a fashion designer, and my elder sister is a surreal artist, so the smell of oil paint was a constant in my life.
Although I am not good at painting or sketching (maybe I am adopted), my environment shaped my way of thinking, my mindset, and gave me a sense of taste. It made me respect art and design.
I will be graduating in July this year (oh gosh, finally!) and am on a constant lookout for jobs in metro cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR.
